Irish John Wright
Of Castleshane, Ireland
Over the past few years, Don Wright and his Footprints program have received a large amount of information on John Wright of Castleshane, Ireland, an Irish Quaker who emigrated to this country in the 1700's and settled in York, now Adams, County, Pa. Don also deals with information on many other, unconnected descendants of the Wright Surname. Because maintenance of the Footprints' webpage requires so much of Don's time, this Irish John Wright page is maintained by John R. Myer as an adjunct to the Footprints page.
You may submit your information regarding this John Wright to the "Irish John Wright" mailing and discussion list to be added to the database, or contact John Myer directly. Any biographies or histories will also be posted if possible on this Web Page as well as considered for publication in Don's "Footprint's" newsletter.
STANDARD DISCLAIMER: The information presented on these pages is, unless otherwise indicated, the best information available to the researcher. However, there may be mistakes and each person should satisfy himself or herself with appropriate documentation regarding any particular fact.
Where appropriate, the specific article will indicate the name and address of the author or compiler of the article and you should first contact that person regarding any questions, corrections, suggestions, or queries you might have.
