Notes
The Ball family was prominent in Orange Co., NY, just across the line
from NJ. I skimmed through my Burnet index cards (from my early days in
genealogy) and found the following that I thought might be of interest to
you. (Unfortunately I did not record the sources in those days.)
Josiah Burnet and Hannah Ball
Josiah fought in the Rev. War and died in 1813. Their children were:
Sally (1775-1841) who m. David Howell (1773-1844)
James (no further info)
Malvin (d. 1810)
